During wartime, the safety of American supply convoys is more important than ever. Road convoys are considered "soft" targets, and frequently come under attack by combatants. Because of this problem, Humvees, commercial, and personal vehicles must be modified with improved armor and survival equipment. The conversion and performance of vehicles is an absolute must in these environments. It is difficult in many cases to procure off-the-shelf equipment to meet this need.
